A2C circular solution

On November 8, the REA agency organized a session on the Circular Cities and Regions Initiative (CCRI). Launched and funded by the European Commission as part of the circular economy action plan, the CCRI focuses on implementing the circular economy in cities and regions in Europe. The event aims to provide an overview of the initiative and aims to present a total of 4 EU-funded projects that are part of the CCRI initiative. The first two projects, Frontsh1p and Agro2circular, aim to provide circular systems solutions for sustainable growth and economic recovery in key product value chains (e.g. agri-food, water and nutrients, plastics), Agro2Circular was presented by CETEC , Project coordinator; The other two projects, Circular invest and Invest CEC, are two development assistance projects (PDAs), which aim to technically and financially support circular economy projects to make them more “attractive” for public and private investors. Circular Invest and Invest CEC will select the circular economy project through an open call for expression of interest, which will be especially attractive to project promoters or companies seeking support to finance their “circular” ideas. The session is part of a broader event of the ECOMONDO fair on Circular Economy and cities that was held in Rimini (Italy) from November 6 to 10.
