SLA printing technology allows significantly higher levels of precision and fidelity of reproduction than alternative technologies currently available. However, the mechanical properties of the parts produced are poor when considering their application in real-life environments with minimal performance requirements.
Through the additivation of commercial resins with nanocomposites, we aim to obtain a reinforcement of sufficient mechanical properties to ensure the use of the prototypes developed in pre-series industrial testing conditions. We intend to test the suitability of this type of development in the plastics industry, with a special focus on the transport and food sectors.
